Graduate Full Stack Developer
We are looking for a talented computing or sciences graduate to join my clients growing in-house development team in an innovative electronic based environment. Electronic Discovery is a niche but evolving industry and we cover the full spectrum. My client is not just a software development company. They deliver customer-focused solutions based on our solid understanding, knowledge and passion for our clients and our industry.
As a relatively small team, they need a self-starter who is driven, committed and looking to contribute both personally and as part of a team. They value experience and have the following requirements:
- Experience programming in an object-oriented language is a must, preferably C# or Java
- Experience using databases is also a must, preferably using T-SQL, although again any variant of SQL is useful.
- Practical experience designing and developing modern web applications using technologies including node.js, MVC frameworks, and front-end frameworks including Bootstrap or SemanticUI
- Communicating within the team and to external clients is important so you will need to be confident communicating both in person, over the phone, and via email. You will need to be able to gather requirements and explain technical solutions to those less technical.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to developing a wide range of programs and tools for eDiscovery from simple SQL scripts to complex web applications and everything in between. This includes developing their own tools from the ground up as well as extending existing software using API frameworks. Although this is mainly a development role there will also be an opportunity to gain experience working on eDiscovery projects and interacting with clients, as we believe it’s important for all our developers to understand the domain they are working in.
If you are interested in this opportunity and you’re a graduate from a leading university with at least a 2:1 degree in a computing or science degree with a strong technical component and an interest in new technologies, then we would love to hear from you.
