Account Manager | London | West Midlands | Bournemouth | Up to £40,000 plus OTE

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager. You will join a dynamic and ambitious team, working as a senior member of the Sales and Marketing department.

Travel is expected to clients in and around London, location flexible: London | Telford | Northampton | Bournemouth

Account Manager job role:

As Senior Account Manager, you will take responsibility for a number of named and shared customer accounts:

  • You will upsell and cross sell to existing customers
  • Introduce new ideas and concepts to help customers improve their use of technology
  • Generate referral leads for new business sales team
  • Liaise with marketing team to create customer stories, testimonials and case studies
  • Proactive and regular account management reviews and communication with customers via Skype, Email, Phone and Face to Face
  • Develop an account management and revenue development plan for each customer
  • Work with Support, Projects and other teams when customers escalate issues
  • Produce and manage quotes for new services and equipment securing purchase orders and signed Service Agreements as needed
  • Maintain and update Service Agreements
  • Ensure invoicing is correct and resolve customer invoicing queries
  • Help customers to use their technology better

Job pre-requisites:

  • As Senior Account Manager, you will have proven recent Account Management experience in a B2B IT environment, selling services, ideally Managed Infrastructure Services or SaaS
  • You will have great business development skills
  • An understanding of key vertical sectors including recruitment, legal, property, financial services
  • Have a good level of IT and technical knowledge
  • This is a reactive position so experience in upselling and crossing is a must
  • Be able to perform well under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Have good business consultancy skills and be solution and customer focused
  • Driving license as travel involved
