Our client provides voice, video and data technologies to enable people to interact, engage and communicate with each other. They are now looking for a Technical Support Advisor to join their team, serving a customer based in Milton Keynes.

Within a fast-paced and stimulating environment, you’ll have the chance to increase your knowledge of IT systems, networking and VoIP platforms whilst focusing on becoming an expert mobile phone support advisor.

What’s more, you’ll be given training to bring you up to speed and will even be provided with a luxury, executive car for business travel.

As a Technical Support Advisor, you’ll be responsible for supporting our client’s high profile customer employee base by resolving their mobile phone queries and issues.

Our client is eager to utilise your passion for mobile technology and provide you with the training and platform you need to realise your full potential.

Based at the customer’s site, you will support service provisioning, fault resolution, device management, technical support and asset management.

Most importantly, you’ll use your positive approach and excellent communication skills to provide an outstanding customer experience.

As part of your role, you may be required to travel to other customer sites.

Interested? To be considered, you must have:

- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Good customer service skills
- Strong administrative skills and an organised approach
- A good understanding of iPhones and a reasonable understanding of other Smartphone technologies
- Familiarity with problem solving for mobile devices
- A full, valid driving licence

Enthusiastic and attentive to detail, as a Technical Support Advisor, you will need to be empathetic and able to understand the emotional attachment that customers have to their phones. You will also need decent persuasion abilities in order to encourage mobile phone providers to prioritise or action requests.

Experience of Cisco VoIP platforms would be beneficial to your application, but this is by no means essential. A-Level qualifications (or equivalent) would also be advantageous, as would experience gained working with mobile phones.
