Care First Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Domestic Violence & Abuse Floating Support Worker to work alongside supported housing units on temporary basis in various London locations. You must have experience of working in DVA and Safeguarding, providing emotional and practical support to women and children living in the community who have or may still be experiencing domestic abuse. Duties/Responsibilities To support access to the service and to enable and enhance each client's quality of life by promoting / maintaining independent living for themselves and any dependants they may have ensuring confidentiality is kept at all times Empower clients to improve their quality of life by promoting and maintaining independent living for themselves and any dependants they may have Provide relevant support in accordance to the clients needs through support and safety planning, risk and needs assessments and through one to one sessions promoting a Multi agency approach of working to ensure the needs of the clients are met to a high quality which will include partnership working within all aspects of service provision To report any safeguarding related concerns and incidents immediately to the line manager and ensure relevant policies are followed Take part in the Camden floating support services helpline, completing the CAADA Ric to inform the assessment process (Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm) All applicants must have a right to work in the UK and have evidence of all relevant training/certificates (risk assessments / safeguarding / CADDA ric), Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references for the immediate 2 years.
