My client, a leading property management business in Sheffield, is currently looking to recruit a Billings Administrator to join their busy team.

In this role you will:

1)Be responsible for a portfolio of clients and assist other team members to meet client deadlines.
2)Collate and analyse the content of engineer worksheets for accuracy and client compliance, checking dates and times of attendance and materials/costs billed to each individual job.
3)Calculate billing charges using a variety of costing methodology including schedule of rates, average order values, time & material costs etc.
4)Input costing information and notes onto the company's bespoke management information system as well spreadsheets and client portals.
5)Obtain additional information from engineers and subcontractors to resolve queries or billing problems.
6)Work closely with other internal departments to ensure all billing queries are resolve and clients are billed efficiently and effectively.
7)Report back to our clients via their portals, client specific reports on email or by telephone with the relevant billing updates.
8)Request billing corrections or changes from clients if needed.
9)Recommend changes and improvements to the billing process.
10)Maintain archive systems and processes.
11)Carry out general office duties as filing, scanning, photocopying.
12)Carry out other duties consistent with the job-holder's knowledge and skills which are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or business goals.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education and Experience
*Desirable - GCSE grade C or above in Maths/ English;
*Desirable - Relevant administrative NVQ(s);
*Desirable - Previous experience in a billing role
*Essential - IT competencies in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Key competencies
*Strong numerical and IT skills (to be a least Stage 1 competent in Microsoft Excel).
*Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
*Independence and commitment.
*Team working skills.
