You will be an experienced and qualified ICT/Computer Science Teacher with ideally at least a years’ post qualification teaching experience. However, the school are willing to consider NQTs that have a strong academic track record including an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject – I.T/ICT/Computer Science etc. Candidates will need to have a sound understanding of the curriculum and a genuine passion of translating your knowledge into exciting and engaging lessons. You will need to be organised, hard-working and focused on providing a very high standard of education.
About the role
In this Computer Science teaching position you will be working in the school’s new ICT and Engineering faculty on a full time and permanent basis. The recruited teacher will be working under the guidance of the faculty’s director and the Vice Principal who will always be on hand to offer support or encouragement, something that should be extremely beneficial for teachers that have only been teaching for short time. As a teacher in the school’s ICT faculty you will be responsible for teaching at GCSE and A Level standard. The roll requires teachers who aren’t afraid to be creative in their approach to the curriculum and in the way lessons are delivered.
