A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proven restaurant professional to become the General Manager of one of London's most successful destination restaurants. The stunning venue has been at the top of the London dining scene since it opened and serves modern contemporary cuisine in a relaxed and informal environment.
The General Manager will report into the London based Director of Operations and be fully responsible for running a fast paced volume operation that can do over eight hundred covers a day in the restaurant and events rooms.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing a team of eighty staff. You would be responsible for mentoring and developing your management team as well as driving forward the line staff ensuring an efficient and friendly service experience is consistently delivered across the operation.
Working along side the Operations Director and Head Chef you will also ensure that the venue is run efficiently with effective standard operating procedures implemented and costs controlled. You would also be involved in putting together a long and short term Sales and Marketing plan for the business that ensures that financial targets are met and that the venue stays at the top of the London market.
The ideal candidate must be a proven General Manager with at least two years experience of running a high end London restaurant with at least a £7 million a year turnover. A passion for working on the floor and dealing with staff and customers also essential.
