Marketing Analytics Manager - R/SAS - Global .com Retailer

£65,000 - £70,000

This is a brand new position within an advanced Central Analytics team for a Global Retailer. This is a core team for the business and the successful candidate will lead a team developing insights across all marketing activity and all areas of customer experience. This role will suit a candidate who wants to work in the fast-paced world of retail, enjoys advanced analysis and loves delving into large data sets using advanced tools and technologies.

THE ROLE - MARKETING ANALYTICS MANAGER:

As Marketing Analytics manager you will lead and develop a small team of analysts and lead stakeholder relationships across the business. This is a commercially focused role so you will present your insights around customer experience and engagement across the business, providing recommendations which will have a significant impact on the business and their customer decisioning strategies. This is a fast paced and highly challenging team so you will use your strong analytical skills in tools such as SAS and R to build statistical models to predict and analyse customer behaviour across numerous data touch points from across the retailers business.

As the manager of a team in an innovative analytics environment you will be able to conduct further exploratory analysis and implement new methods of best practice. This is a unique opportunity for an analytics manager who wants to remain hands on with large and complex data sets, while leading a team to provide commercially valuable insights for the business.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Marketing Analytics Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong experience in an advanced analytics role
  • Strong technical ability in SAS/R with the ability to model
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Be passionate about providing the business with engaging customer insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Educated to degree level within a numerate discipline
