The Trainee Maths Teacher Person Specification
The ideal applicant will be a strong Maths Graduate with at least a 2:1, and they’ll ideally be someone who possesses excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills, and the personality to be able to deal with tough situations on occasion.

The Trainee Maths Teacher Role
In this Trainee Maths Teacher position, join the school as a Trainee and spend the first term in a Teaching Assistant role. Learn about the school, observe teaching, and get yourself familiar with your surroundings. From there, move in to a part-time teaching timetable while being supported on site by a mentor and off-site by Premier Pathways. Plan and deliver Maths lessons and work closely with the Head of Maths AND the Head Teacher to ensure you’re comfortable and making progress. With this close-knit team round you, you’ll be able to progress and earn yourself a PGCE in Year 2 and gain that all important QTS! Sound good…?
