We are looking for an experienced Private Banking candidate to move to this Private Bank in Mayfair, where you will assist a Client Relationship Manager with the administration of banking and client related matters and assist clients.

This includes the organisation, execution and monitoring of bank transfers and payments, foreign exchange transactions, the monitoring and fixing of bank deposits and the execution and monitoring of securities transactions.

The assistant interacts with clients under the supervision and responsibility of the Relationship Managers.

You will assist in preparing client information packs, account opening forms and credit applications and to provide factual correct and complete input

To assist the CRO in preparing periodic client reviews such as PEP, high- and standard risk clients, credit and investment reviews

To assist the Client Relationship Manager in preparing their client meetings including booking of meeting rooms and venues, the preparation of forms, valuations and documents

To assist the Client Relationship Officer in preparing their business trips including booking of transport and accommodation and preparing business expense claims

In coordination with the managers and Team Representatives, to provide coverage for other assistants during their absence

To deal with and follow up on client correspondence such as letters, facsimiles, emails and with client telephone calls and to keep the Relationship Officers informed about all client interactions and steps taken

To maintain clear, comprehensive and up-to-date client, business and transaction records, on own interactions with clients at all times

To execute client payment instructions according to the Payment Services Directive and in accordance with internal procedures including proper client identification, call backs and record keeping to arrange securities transactions, FX deals, term deposits and cash collections and deposits in compliance with the Bank's relevant guidelines and procedures

To assist the Client Relationship Manager according to instructions in tasks including, but not limited to ordering new and replacement cheque books

To upload and retrieve client documentation and correspondence on and from the Bank's storage system, diary management and document filing

Update the Bank's client database systems, to apply for and to prepare replies to bank reference requests for and on behalf of the Bank's clients

Answer calls and to take messages, to prepare business expense claims, to monitor activities on client accounts, other administrative tasks as instructed by the Relationship Officer from time to time

To liaise with other booking centres within the Bank in relation to all activities of clients booked outside the Bank's booking platform

To constantly be aware of financial crime /AML and fraud risk and any other risks as outlined

To keep up to date with and comply with all internal guidelines and policies, at all times

Keep their knowledge up-to-date regarding market and regulatory developments, as appropriate to their role
