The Head of UK Finance will be responsible for the overall financial control, management and reporting for the business. They will use financial information to produce analytical insight into the performance of the business and make recommendations to maximise growth and profitability and manage risks. Working closely with the UK CEO, Group CFO and UK Finance Team, the Head of UK Finance will take ownership of the UK financial planning, reporting & analysis, accounting and controls.

The individual will be passionate about producing commercial financial reports to the business executives, producing the correct financial information that will have a big impact into making the right decisions to the running of the business. They will need to demonstrate business awareness, strong analytical skills and an excellent level of attention to detail. The Head of UK Finance will not only have the opportunity to be involved in delivering the plans of the UK Business, but also working in conjunction with the UK CEO, Head of Credit Risk, Commercial Director and the Group CFO in defining new product lines on how and when the business goes out to market.

As a partner to the UK Executive, you will be working alongside each other to develop and implement UK strategy in pursuit of the aims and goals of the business.

The Head of UK Finance will be the spear head in the development and implementation of UK Finance strategy, plan, budget and objectives, whilst positioning these in line with UK strategy and priorities, and Group Financial strategy

You will be a key driver in the management of UK Finance performance, measuring them against agreed plans and objectives, you will be expected to monitor performance and work with UK CEO and Group CFO to agree on actions required to address any performance issues and/or to capitalise on opportunities

The ideal candidate will be an ACA/CIMA/ACCA with a strong degree from a larger regulated business. This could be banking, Fin-Tech, insurance or gaming. You must have had At least five years post-qualified experience in a commercial finance environment
