Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Manager is needed for a busy, fast paced role within a leading commercial sales firm. As Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales from sponsorship deals and advertising both new media and traditional, presenting to clients, analysing financial information, working on strategy and more!

Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Manager:

  • Proactively focus on the generation of new media sales opportunities to generate income from instigation to implementation.
  • Deliver a commercially successful and visually high-quality sponsorship programme with key partners.
  • Manage sales performance; cost and income.
  • Negotiate terms for each new commercial media contract.
  • Research clients' businesses, requirements and function as an internal expert in the field of media, advertising and sponsorship.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing clients, establishing a network of advertising agency contacts.
  • Act as a contact between the firm and its existing and potential markets in media and sponsorship across the UK.
  • Provide expert media information and input to the firm's business planning and strategy development, taking full ownership and accountability for the media budgeting process and delivery.
  • Understand market trends and the likely impact on revenue streams
  • Feed future media buying trends to the senior management team.
  • Monitor and analyse financial information.
  • Provide reports to senior management team including proposing business cases to senior managers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through monitoring feedback.
  • Attend industry networking events and seminars to build links and keep up to date on media strategy in the UK.
  • Manage external communications e.g. agencies, brands and suppliers.
