I am currently recruiting for an experienced New Business Development Executive to join an expanding IT based company in the Wakefield area. As one of the UK's Leading companies in their field, my client deal directly with the world's leading manufacturers to bring their customers an extensive range of quality products. The successful candidate will have previous experience developing their own client base and managing these accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading organisation that can offer long term career progression along with the ability to earn great bonus as well as working in a professional and fun environment. You will be responsible for generating business from outbound calls, handling incoming calls and other proactive sales activities. With targets based on profit achievement, you will have the flexibility to negotiate pricing with your customers, and will be tasked with maximising sales and returns whilst maintaining high standards of customer care.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow customer accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
  • Troubleshoot underperforming accounts
  • Negotiate pricing
  • Raise sales orders
  • Convert dormant customers to spend
  • Contact prospective customers to promote my clients products and services
  • Maintain customer service standards

Essential Experience:

  • Telephone sales experience
  • Account management

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at grades C or above

The successful candidate will be:
A confident communicator with proven sales skills and the drive to achieve personal and departmental target driven goals. In addition you will have good organisational skills show attention to detail and have excellent IT skills.
