Exciting opportunity to join an international company based in Quedgeley, Gloucester who have an excellent reputation. This job will suit an individual with an inquisitive mind that is looking for progression.

Reporting to the Treasury Operations Supervisor, the purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity of payments and collections across multiple e-banking systems, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and meeting the company Service Level Agreements.

The key elements will be:

- accurate and timely processing of payments

- resolving internal and external queries

- administrative support for projects; automation and process improvements

Daily tasks:

- Prepare and process payment and collection files for multiple countries e.g. UK, Morocco, France, Italy and Spain

- Input manual payments in e-banking systems such as taxes, payroll and ad-hoc payments ensuring payments are posted in SAP

- Deliver payments to approvers and ensure full authorisation on the day they are processed

- Take accountability of internal and external queries to ensure a successful conclusion

Candidate Attributes:

- 1-2 years accounts payable and/finance experience

- Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise workload and escalate issues effectively

- Attention to detail, completing tasks thoroughly and accurately

- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and ethical behaviour when dealing with sensitive payments

- Assertive, ensuring payments are approved on the day they are processed

- Inquisitive and accountable nature, to solve problems and take to a successful resolution

- Language skills, such as French, Italian and Spanish are desirable but not essential

Hours - Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5pm

Salary - £20-22k
