A permanent opportunity for an Accounts/Ledger Manager who has either supervised or managed a transactional team previously. An opportunity has arisen with a highly successful international business who seeks an experienced supervisor/manager to oversee their payables, receivables, cashbook and intercompany functions.
You must have strong general ledger experience with a track record of leading and managing a transactional function. Ideally, you will be qualified by experience of working towards a recognised qualification with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
You must have a hands-on management style, used to working with large volumes of transactions and a highly competent team leader ideally with exposure to managing remotely also.
About The Role
- Manage the accounts payable function, setting monthly timetables and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Implementing any procedural changes necessary to improve efficiency.
- Set-up and maintain supplier accounts, building relationships with key suppliers to improve efficiency
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve differences in a timely manner.
- Oversee the receivables functions and credit control
- Reconcile the cash book and support other Managers in cashflow reporting
- Oversee intercompany recharges and ensure accuracy and process efficiency
- Process and reconcile the payroll and related control accounts
