Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk
£22,000 - £24,000

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk who has a stable and solid CV? A large, well known company in Hemel Hempstead has an opportunity to add a new team member to its busy and demanding purchase ledger department.

Key responsibilities:
- Entry, verification and payment of supplier invoices
- Telephone and email correspondence with Directors, Managers and Suppliers
- Negotiating credits where needed, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries
- Resolving queries with department Managers
- Preparation of payments for weekly BACS run

The ideal Accounts Payable Administrator will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Minimum 3 years purchase ledger experience
- The ability to work on their own initiative, to be self-managed, motivated and flexible.
- To be able to work under pressure, to deadline, with efficiency and accurately.
