The Role:

We're seeking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Engineering professional to deliver and assess engineering qualifications up to and including L3 standard. Both theory and practical elements of the course will be covered in the role. Qualifications covered will include PEO, Composite Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering to name just a few.

Class numbers between 10-15 students per class. Most of the learning will be classroom based, with just a small part being WBL.

You will be required to train, asses, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving their Engineering qualifications, maximising the use of e-learning and a variety of other assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge.

You will also be required to maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams to support the delivery of the Assessment Business Plan, and ensure all learners experience quality standards in line with Company & Ofsted guidelines.

The Candidate:

A strong background within Mechanical Engineering is essential (5 years minimum is expected), you must also have experience with CNC Programming / Setting. It will be especially beneficial if you have experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD), Lathes, Milling, and Bench Fitting.

If you do not possess an assessing and / or teaching qualification, the company will put you through these.

Assessor Qualification (A1, D32, CAVA, etc.)

Verifier Qualification (V1, IQA, etc.)

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is £25,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Excellent holiday entitlement at 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off
