Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator 

An exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser 

Our client’s vision is that every missing person is found safe. 

They are a non-judgemental, highly skilled team of staff and volunteers working around the clock for everyone who needs them. They provide free 24 hour confidential support, help, advice by phone, email, text and online, including the opportunity to reconnect. They also coordinate a UK wide network of people, businesses and media to join the search for the estimated 250,000 people who go missing each year. 

Position: Events & Community Fundraising Coordinator 
Location: London 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum dependant on experience

About the Role: 

Working as part of a small team, you will implement a variety of fundraising initiatives which generate income and maximise return on investment. This will include community fundraising products, providing stewardship for challenge event participants, supporting volunteers to organise their own fundraising events and third party events. You will recruit and motivate a network of fundraising supporters and volunteers to raise unrestricted funds to meet income targets. The role has a national remit with a particular focus on London and the South East, with some travel across the UK required. 

About You: 

You will be an organised, positive and professional fundraiser with experience of challenge events and community fundraising. Committed to providing first-class supporter care to a range of donors, you will motivate supporters to reach their ambitious team’s targets. With a can-do approach and an eye for detail, you will work closely in a small ambitious team with responsibility for promoting and delivering community fundraising initiatives and challenge events. 

You may have experience of the following: Community & Events Fundraiser, Volunteer Manager, Fundraising and Events Coordinator, Charity Event Co-ordinator, Events Manager, IOF, Marketing Assistant, Community Fundraiser, Direct Marketing, Events Co-ordinator and Community Fundraising, Corporate Fundraiser, Events Assistant, Third Sector, Charity, Not for Profit, etc.
