Sales Ledger Clerk required for permanent opportunity in Birmingham City Centre for a well established business. Working as part of a friendly team, you will be solely responsible for the day to day processing of the sales ledger function. You will be responsible for raising invoices, bank reconciliations, cashbook maintenance, cash allocation, raising credit notes, liaising with credit control and resolving queries both internally and externally.

My client is looking for an experienced sales ledger clerk who is able to join the business and hit the ground running. You will be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work under pressure while adhering to deadlines, you will be methodical and have excellent attention to detail. Excellent excel skills and previous experience with a computerised accountancy system is essential.

My client is a small but well established business based in Birmingham city centre with an open and friendly culture. They are offering a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, they are easily accessible by public transport and their hours of work are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 5pm on Friday
