Job Title: Occupancy Operations Support Manager
Reports to: Occupancy Operations Manager
Job role: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits

We are currently looking for an individual to join our growing operations team who will work specifically in the occupancy department. This individual will need to demonstrate passion, commitment and determination to succeed in ensuring our services are financially successful by sharing our vision with potential customers and supporting our Registered Managers to celebrate the service we provide with existing customers and identify those who may not be aware of our services and the excellent outcomes achieved by or dedicated staff. The successful individual will support the Occupancy Operations Managers to reach Occupancy Targets in allocated services; they will directly report to the Occupancy Operations Managers.

Your primary focus will be with the occupancy department, but as a member of the operations team, you will, as required, be asked to participate in activity to support the function of the operations team in other areas of the business including compliance, improving quality and supporting home managers

Responsibilities will include:

  • To support the operations manager in monitoring enquiries into our services and ensuring they are managed professionally and promptly

  • To support registered managers with marketing and building relationships with commissioning teams

  • To produce occupancy plans for individual services, supporting and monitoring progress

  • To identify new opportunities and managing varying referral methods adopted by commissioning bodies

  • Support Managers with Pre-admission Assessments, and Producing individual packages of care, provide training and coaching, where required, complete assessment on behalf of services

  • To participate in management of enquiries received into the organisation centrally

  • To deputise in the occupancy operations managers absence, maintaining reporting processes

Person specification, you will have:

  • MUST be nurse qualified with at least 1 year to 18 months experience working at Care Home Manager level, or be able to demonstrate external experience relevant to the position

  • Have a passion for achieving steady achievable growth of business in the care industry, and ability to develop skills of Home Managers to enable them to achieve financial targets

  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and stakeholders

  • An interest in working with a team to develop a systematic process to enquiry management, that provides a high standard of customer experience and efficiency during the enquiry and referral process to the organisation

  • Good organization skills, be flexible and self-driven to achieve
