Business Development Executive
Winners! Recruitment are working in partnership with this leading engineering organisation in order to appoint a commercially minded, business development professional into their corporate Sales & Marketing Team.
Due to ongoing success and growth the role of Business Development Executive is key to the continued progress of the organisation.
Reporting to the Managing Director and based in new, well-facilitated offices just outside of Falmouth, duties and responsibilities will include:
Pro-actively representing the company, brand image and products in a professional and positive manner.
Listening to customer requirements and advising accordingly.
Formulating a sales strategy to actively enhance the client database through intelligent contact, building of business relationships and maintaining them through regular contact, conversations or meetings.
Responding to customer requests (telephone, letter, email).
Attending conferences and events in order to promote brand and products.
Acting on client information gained in order to gain new business opportunities.
Negotiating prices and keeping clients informed on projects, delivery of products etc. Checking progress of orders, stock levels and working closely with the Marketing team in order to continually promote the company to external business partners.
This is a busy role that requires an individual with bags of motivation, the ability to approach new contacts and build relationships with existing and new clients.
Already proven within a client facing, business development or B2B Sales role, the successful applicant will be of a positive, resilient, dedicated and inquisitive nature. You will be a confident communicator, enjoy presenting new information and working as part of a team as well as independently.
You will be confident in the use of MS Office Packages, additionally advantageous would be experience within marine and/or engineering disciplines along with the ability to speak a second language.
The role is offered on a permanent, full time contract, 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday.
