Financial Administrator / Cost Controller - Private Members' Club

A Financial Administrator / Cost Controller with some experience in a Food & Beverage / Hospitality environment is needed to join one of Britain`s most prestigious private members` clubs. Expect to become a core member of the Food and Beverage team responsible for the Club`s F&B purchasing and associated control procedures.

Established in 1869 and set in 42 acres of magnificent grounds, the Club is a green oasis of tradition and international renown. Recognised throughout the world as one of Britain`s greatest private members` clubs, it retains its quintessentially English traditions and heritage, while providing modern facilities and services for its members.

Working with the Food & Beverage Commercial Manager and the Head Chef the Financial Administrator / Cost Controller will aid the management of stock control, purchasing and EPOS systems within the F&B function. Whether you are ensuring menus are costed effectively; overseeing the purchase ledger function for all food & beverage purchases; dealing with deliveries and returns; preparing weekly forecast reports of food, liquor and wage costs or ensuring systems are up to date and being used correctly, you will play a key role ensuring the smooth running of this vital department.

To qualify... You should be a Financial Administrator / Cost Controller / Finance Admin / Purchase Ledger Assistant / Food & Beverage Commercial Assistant / F&B Cost Controller / Food and Beverage Commercial Assistant / Food and Beverage Cost Controller / Food & Beverage Finance Assistant or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a similar Financial Administrator / Cost Controller role within a similar kitchen / food and beverage environment;
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail;
  • The ability to multitask with accuracy across a number of concurrent duties and projects;
  • Excellent numerical skills;
  • A passion and drive to be a real team player.

Experience with a stock control system would be advantageous.
