Mechanical Systems Engineer (Certification) BLUM48326 - Leighton Buzzard
Our Client has just been taken over by a world leader in interior cabin products, fastener distribution and logistical services for commercial, business and military jets. They now have an immediate requirement for a Systems Engineer to join them based at the Leighton Buzzard site.
Working for the Certification Team on the A350 XWB galley program you will be responsible for the effective progression of certification schedules. The main tasks will be related to the Fluid Systems such as ventilation, refrigeration and the plumbing systems on the galleys.
Ensuring that the designs comply with all the relevant EASA or FAA regulations for passenger aircraft seating, and also that they meet the defined contract requirements and scope of work.
Preparation of test schedules and production of technical documentation
Technical review of proposed design changes and technical design verification
The ideal candidate will have good reporting and communication skills. A good team player with effective oral and written communication skills, you will have an excellent work ethic and be technically proficient.
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
Awareness of current EASA or FAA regulations and of the certification framework within which the work is completed
Effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel
In return, our Client can offer a salary of up to £40,000 (doe) + overtime, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, Company Pension and Cashback Healthcare Scheme
