An excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with an established, rapidly expanding business based in Bradford, offering an immediate challenge and strong potential for career progression.

Due to its growth, the Group is seeking to recruit a qualified Accountant to strengthen its existing finance team at their Head Office. This role reports into the Finance Director, working closely with the Managing Director and other senior management.

The role will primarily be responsible for contributing to the financial operation of the Group, and the overall timeliness of group reporting.

Other tasks will include, but will not be limited to the following;
*Contributing to the day to day financial control and the preparation of monthly accounts for consolidation, as well as the annual audit.
*Responsibility for the management of the balance sheet and working capital including cash collection and forecasting.
*Providing financial support and guidance to senior management, board members and other colleagues, as required.
*Development of the ERP and reporting systems.
*Ad hoc projects, including acquisition evaluation, major contract reviews (pre and post tender/ submission), CAPEX proposals, analysis of performance by service line / customer, analysis of utilization; workforce and assets.

The successful candidate will need to be a qualified Accountant with the following credentials:
*ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified with an excellent academic record.
*Be able to demonstrate progression and achievement in their career to date with lots of potential for future career progression.
*Demonstrate strong technical competency in the delivery and development of monthly and year end reporting.
*Be able to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, happy presenting financial information at board level.
*Strong commercial acumen capable of understanding the business, it's objectives and how the finance function can support the business in meeting targets.
*Excellent experience in cash management and forecasting.
*Experience with ERP systems and their development would be advantageous.

The position will involve a small degree of regular travel around the branch network so a full driving licence is essential.
