The Job

As the Head of Care you will be responsible for ensuring that outstanding clinical standards are maintained. You will provide clinical and managerial supervision for all of our nurses and be a role model of good practice. You will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained through effective rota management. Your role will be to support the Home Manager to ensure smooth day to day running of the home with emphasis on Clinical Leadership.

Requirements for the Role

  • Relevant qualification in nursing with current registration with the NMC (RGN or RMN)
  • Experience of leading a clinical team with implementation of clinical governance and quality management within a nursing home
  • Strong knowledge of the CQC, Mental Health Capacity Act, Health and Safety and Safeguarding
  • A collaborative attitude with first class interpersonal skills and adherence to NMC code of conduct
