One of the biggest TV names is searching for a New Business Executive on a permanent basis. The general purpose of the role will be to help the Head of Commercial Development to develop new revenue streams in innovative ways such as bringing on new partners, utilising events & merchandising / licensing.

*The New Business Exec will be a key commercial role in the Commercial Development team. It will be their role to drive the maximum revenues.
*They will be expected to negotiate new deals as well as manage key accounts to maximise revenues by building business-to-business relationships and managing and enhancing direct-to-consumer proposition.
*The person is expected to investigate market opportunities and make internal recommendations to the Director and Head of Commercial Development.
*They would be expected to work closely with a number of departments and individuals across the business e.g. Digital, Finance, Legal and Marketing.
Experience & Knowledge sought:
*Experience and knowledge of the television production process necessary
*Experience in any combination of the following: Licensing, Brand Exploitation, Live Events and general Broadcast ancillary revenue stream development.
*Must previously have had responsibility for delivering revenue targets
*The ability to quickly develop credible relationships with a variety of contacts both internally and externally
*Working knowledge of Ofcom Broadcasting Code and BCAP regulations.
*Effective negotiating and management skills
*Highly creative
*Resilience and stamina sufficient to sustain performance when under pressure to tight deadlines
*Ability to sell ideas in a persuasive and convincing manner and experience presenting pitches / concepts to clients
*Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills
*The ability to work on multiple projects at any one time
*The ability to analyse data, strong analytical & numeracy skills
