Associate Quantity Surveyor

A large, prestigious international consultancy with offices across the globe is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their 100+ person, London office and be responsible for running projects from £7-£60 million.

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will head up a forward thinking and confident Commercial team, where you will provide an accurate and quality Quantity Surveying service on some interesting and challenging commercial and residential projects.

The Role

The role will be client facing and the successful Associate Quantity Surveyor should also be commercially aware.

The role will be 'hands on' and the successful Associate QS will possess the normal cost consultant and management skillset.

Day to day role will include:

  • Manage several projects
  • Negotiate with contractors
  • Produce tender documents
  • Pre and Post contract delivery
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Business development

The Person

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will ideally possess the relevant 'hands on' commercial and residential experience.

The role requires a Quantity Surveyor with Senior QS experience and a commercially aware mindset.

  • MRICS, or similar
  • London market knowledge/experience
  • 5 years post qualification experience
  • Commercial experience

In return…£60-70,000
