Breakfast Chef - Boutique Hotel
Our client, a Boutique Hotel Collection with locations throughout the Southern Counties is currently looking for a Breakfast Chef to join it's already established team at their Guildford location.
The hotel boasts 60 guest bedrooms, and is set amongst 26 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of the Surrey Hills. The hotel offers it's guests a host of luxury services as well a a 2 rosette restaurant.
The role; Reporting to the Head Chef/Sous Chef you will have responsibility for breakfast preparation and service. You will need to demonstrate ability and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding service at an early hour.
Duties include; Daily breakfast preparation and service, including buffet items and hot items cooked to order, Assisting the other Chefs with lunchtime preparation and supporting with service, Preparing of staff food, Assisting with afternoon tea preparation, General preparation and cooking duties as directed by the Head/Sous Chef.
Requirements; Availability to work 5 shifts per week, 0630 - 1430, 40 hours per week including weekends. You will be required to attend a trial shift and demonstrate your ability to be able to produce plated breakfasts deserving of a 2 rosette standard.
Salary package; £16,950 p/a, 4 weeks holiday increasing with service + 8 bank holidays, Free car parking, Employee uniform. Following completion of the company's 3 month probation you will receive access to a range of company benefits.
