Contract Type
Full Time

Imagine having the chance to watch both our sales team and your own team grow and develop every single day, as well as having the chance to progress for yourself. The sales team at Northgate Vehicle Hire are an amazing bunch, and a big part of this is down to our incredible Learning & Development team. We’ve got an opportunity for an experienced Sales Training Manager to oversee the L&D team and help our salesforce realise their potential.

As our new Sales Training Manager it’ll be down to you to make sure that the Sales Academy is fit for purpose. That purpose is to get our new hires up to speed as quickly as possible, while maximising the potential of our existing employees. You’ll have the opportunity to manage an incredibly focussed and dedicated team, while also managing high level stakeholders. You’ll also get the opportunity to work with our brilliant Marketing and E-Learning departments to ensure the content the Learning & Development team is delivering is relevant and engaging. You’ll also need to roll your sleeves up from time to time as well, as sometimes; you’ll need to deliver training to your team as well as other teams in the business. As expected with a senior training role, there’ll be an element of travel involved too (don’t worry though, we’re offering an amazing car allowance or company car)

For you to be successful in this role, we think you’d need to have at least a couple of years recent experience leading a training team. Ideally that would be in a sales environment and be a solution based sell. It would also help if you’d progressed from sales into an L&D role too. A degree or a CIPD qualification would be great (although not essential), and because there’s travel involved, a full UK driving license is a must

We’re proud to be a business that is passionate about our people and their development, so you’ll get the chance to see some of the most amazing people with a huge range of skill sets develop on a daily basis. We’re offering the successful candidate up to £45,000 as a basic salary, plus bonus and a car or car allowance.
