Materials Controller/Purchase Ledger Clerk
TM Resourcing are hiring a Materials Controller with Purchase Ledger experience for a manufacturing business based in Wakefield.
Materials Controller/Purchase Ledger Clerk:
This role will have the following daily duties:
Attention to detail in linking accounts to materials in terms of their quantity/price and dates is absolutely key to this position;
Inputting of invoices and ensuring they are all matched to the Purchase Order entries;
Reconciliation of receipts;
Reporting and calculating price variances;
Entering cost information onto the system;
Spot check stock counts
Improve materials reporting accurancy;
Month end reporting;
Following up on discrepancies.
This role requires the successful candidate to be from a manufacturing background and have both materials/costing experience alongside purchase ledger skills.
Excellent Excel skills are also essental for this position. Ideally having previously worked within stock control and being familiar with factory processes.
Salary £17-19k dependent upon experience
