Sales & Marketing Manager

Sales - On site at hotel

Purpose of the post:

To proactively grow the turnover for the Hotel and event spaces through planned sales appointments and marketing

To create effective sales and marketing plan for this growth in conjunction with management to cover hotel bedrooms, events and Stable Inn calendar of promotions through the year

To identify shortfalls and implement remedial actions

Duties and tasks:

Role within the business and how it impacts on the sales team and the business

  • Devise and implement the sales and marketing strategy for growth of new sales
  • Ensure sales target of CSE is met and the standard of their work is within company guidelines and timescales
  • Identify and report on new business opportunities in target markets
  • Achieve targets for revenue, liaise with operations re profitability to ensure that sales packages are profitable, and to be flexible on pricing structure whilst maintaining margins to ensure maximum sales growth
  • Raise profile of Stable Inn locally with calendar of events and then marketing of these events to ensure sales
  • Promotion of themed events and dinner dances through effective marketing
  • Execution of the marketing budget, choice of spend and monitoring of results

Person Specification

Looking for an individual who is motivated and enthusiastic and has hotel sales and marketing experience

Key focus on sales ability and communication skills

Experience (Essential or Desirable)

Previous experience within a hotel sales environment Essential

Previous experience at Senior Management level Essential

Proven track record in sales and success of growth Essential

Qualifications (Essential or Desirable)

Degree Desirable

O’Level/GCSE C+ Average in Maths and English Essential

Computer literate - training will be provided on all Co Systems Essential
