A national Facilities Management provider are currently recruiting for a large contract in Didcot.

The role is to provide QS support to a Facilities Management contract delivering Hard FM & Grounds services to the client & end users. The role will be based at Didcot, however travel to the other sites within the client portfolio will be required.

The contract is circa £4M per annum and will involve the management of Planned and Reactive Maintenance, with additional small Project works up to the value of £500k.

This client is involved with full Facilities Management with both a direct labour and subcontract service delivery model and the role will involve procurement of both hard and grounds services for planned, reactive works and small Project works.
You will be responsible for getting procuring quotations and estimates, and will work closely with the project facilities manager on site. Other duties will be monitoring costs, managing subcontract and supplier payments, raising applications and dealing with any variations, indexation of contracts, contractual advice etc as well as month end reporting.

It is essential to have managed M&E contracts/minor works/projects, a working knowledge of M&E systems would be advantageous, as well as experience of CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) systems and NEC3 forms of contract.

The client is open to speak to candidates from both the Facilities Management sector and also the Construction industry as these skills are transferable.

The package is up to 38K plus a car and other benefits, however they would also be interested in seeing a more junior candidate should they have some relevant experience.
