You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours a week and will receive a competitive starting salary of £20,138 per annum plus benefits.
A home is more than just a roof over someone’s head – it’s where individuals and families find their security, safety and stability. Working in this team gives you the chance to be part of tackling what is one of the biggest challenges in our society: the challenge to help people find a home and retain a home.
We have a dynamic Housing Options and Homelessness Team and are looking to expand this further with new posts to help us respond to significant changes in homelessness legislation and welfare reform. This is an exciting time to become part of a team that makes such a difference and transforms lives, working for an organisation that is at the forefront of innovative thinking in the public sector.
About the CBLAssistant role
Your duties will include speaking to members of the public in respect of their application to the Housing Register. Collecting application evidence and making enquiries to help validate applications. You will also liaise with and advise statutory and voluntary agencies on homelessness and a range of other housing issues.
In return as our CBLAssistant, we can offer you…
In return our benefits package includes a contributory pension scheme, performance related pay progression, child care vouchers, cycle to work scheme, employee discount package, generous annual leave and flexible working schemes and a range of wellbeing initiatives.
