The Role - English Teacher

To be a successful candidate you must be a well-qualified English Teacher able to start in September 2017. This Secondary School is looking for a Teacher to inspire enthusiasm in their pupils and assist in maintaining the schools high academic standards. You must be able to teach up to Key Stage 5 within this role and also be able to support those with different languages and cultures and adapt lessons for those with differing abilities. They are open to newly qualified entrants and also those with more experience. Someone who would be eager to throw themselves whole heartedly into the position and the extra-curricular life of the school. Above all, you must be passionate about your subject and want to pass this on to your students. This post is for a September start and would be on a permanent basis.

The Secondary School - English Teacher

We are currently working with a school that is at a very exciting stage of its development. Currently undergoing a premises makeover costing upward of £30m, the new site will be state-of-the-art and will be an exceptional place of learning. The school became part of an excelling Academy Trust in 2014 and has gone from strength to strength. They are looking to appoint an Outstanding English Teacher to join them from September to be a part of a growing department… and a growing school! This an excellent time to become part of this fantastic team and staff are presented with numerous development opportunities to advance and learn. Offering up to twice as many training days as standard, the sky's the limit! The school is non-denominational, non-selective and welcomes girls and boys from all backgrounds within the local community. The Senior Leadership Team realize that English is not only vital for the world of work, but that mastering the subject is key to being able to access the wider curriculum. With this in mind, they invest more time and resources than other schools, and give extra support where needed to make sure that Teachers are able to ensure their students make the progress necessary to achieve their potential.
