Retentions Advisor

A unique opening has become available for a Retentions Advisor to join our growing Telesales Division.

Reporting directly to the Telesales Manager, the Retentions Advisor will be accountable for retaining new and existing customers. The successful applicant will utilise their listening and questioning skills, coupled with trained product knowledge to understand customers' needs and provide them with a suitable product and service solution.

To succeed in this role, the Retentions Advisor will have excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct themselves with a transparent sales style; being clear, open and honest. The ideal applicant will have a clear passion for sales and a positive, can-do attitude towards their role. Previous retail experience in telesales or mobility/health sector is preferred but not essential, as full product training will be given.

Essential Skills

- Experience in retention and high confident approach is essential

- Establishing customer needs and identifying cause

- Matching products to established needs and closing sales over the phone

- Desire to achieve individual KPIs

- Polite and courteous telephone manner is a must with an essential requirement of patience

- Working with other business teams in cross selling and switch selling products

- Experience in MS Office is advantageous ie Word, Excel and Outlook

- Essential to be able to work within a team but also on own initiative

- Self-disciplined, motivated and committed to delivering work to agreed targets

- Excellent command of English phone manner, punctuation and grammar

- Good interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills

Please note the usual working hours for this position is Monday to Friday, however there will be a requirement to work some weekend shifts occasion.
