Senior Accountant - General Practice

Your new firm
A well established accountancy firm based in modern offices just outside of Oldham are looking to appoint a senior accountant to join their team due to an increased workload. They can consider applicants on both a part time or full time basis.
Your new role
As a senior accountant you will be responsible for undertaking a range of accounting and auditing assignments for limited companies. This role will involve preparing year end accounts, producing tax computations, taking a lead on the planning of the audits, overseeing fieldwork, writing reports and completing the audits. In this role you will report directly into the partners and take ownership of your WIP ensuring you are completing your work in the relevant timescales.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an experienced general practice accountant who is experienced in both accounting, audit and tax compliance. The partners do not need the successful applicant to have a professional qualification but you must have prior experience working within a UK based accountancy firm. As this role is client facing you must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills. The firm will consider both part time and full time applicants and will also consider an individual who has taken a career break and is looking to return to the profession.
