Winners! Recruitment are working with this high profile, specialist engineering organisation in Falmouth in order to recruit a Purchasing Administrator into their busy, commercial Operations Team.
Based in well appointed, modern offices in Falmouth and reporting to the Operations Director this is a busy, varied and fast-paced administration role which is critical to the success of the business. Duties and responsibilities will include:
Actively work towards seeking best prices for materials and to secure agreements while developing business relationships with suppliers.
Placing orders, working with sub-contractors and preparing purchase orders.
Ensuring all purchasing paperwork is filed and organised correctly while maintaining the CRM database with address and contact information.
Liaising with suppliers on orders, deliveries and product information as well as internal staff and departments.
This is a busy role and requires optimum organisation skills along with a strong working command of MS Office.
Already experienced in an Administrative, Purchasing, Technical Admin or Office Co-ordination role the successful applicant will be a confident communicator, able to interact well at all levels within and external to the company. You will be highly organised, resilient, able to work to timeframes and possess the ability to either "fire-fight" or think on your feet.
This is a permanent appointment, offered either at 40 hours per week (job share/part time will be considered).
