Job Title: IFA Administrator

Location: Home Based

Salary: £22,000 up to £24,000

Benefits: Home Based, Company pension, progression

My client is a long-established IFA back office practice, who due to current work load are looking for home based IFA Administrators to join their team

Duties will Include:

Adherence to an Adviser’s internal procedures and processes for all tasks and activities

Adherence to an Adviser’s compliance manual, and also FCA regulations

Submitting new business (electronic and / or paper), monitoring and tracking through to completion, and taking clients through online protection applications by telephone

Organising letters of authority / chasing product provider information, tracking change of agency requests

Opening, sorting and distributing post

First point of contact for Adviser’s clients, and product providers

Taking accurate messages and ensuring they are passed on promptly

Creating professional, accurate and well written correspondence, (letters and emails) whilst complying with the Adviser firm’s documentation standards

Producing mailshots, and typing from dictated audio files

Ensuring appropriate notes and documentation are maintained at all times, (e.g. documenting telephone calls), thus ensuring a quality audit trail, either within the Adviser’s back office system, or maintaining separate notes, as required by the Adviser

Arranging and coordinating meetings, including meeting rooms & refreshments for clients as necessary

Ensuring an Adviser’s diary is correct and up-to-date at all times

Assisting with preparation for meetings, collating documentation and obtaining valuations where

Skills and Experience required:

Experience in Administrator role

Experience working in Investments and Pensions

Started your Financial services qualifications
