My client, an award-winning UK leading Events and Publication company, due to an increase in business they are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Senior Programme Manager / Conference Producer.

The Senior Programme Manager / Conference Producer will lead the management and production of all programme and content elements for a high profile, commercially successful, content-led Expo for the Healthcare industry. This is a large-scale flagship event, that will have in attendance at the show close to 4000.

Taking full responsibility for the content production of this high profile UK Expo, to research and validate new commercially driven content areas. The focus is on developing and delivering innovative content that will attract visitors and align to commercial objectives of exhibitors and sponsors. This is a people-focused position where you will be measured on the quality of your content, ability see the commercial opportunity and tenacity to secure sector-leading speakers.

The Senior Programme Manager / Conference Producer will conduct extensive and in-depth industry research via telephone, online and in-person to understand market wants and needs and build event audience profiles. Produce market-led, benefit-driven content programmes for commercially successful expos. Identify, secure and manage the participation of high-level, industry leading speakers through research, influencing and negotiating skills. Collaborate with marketing team in the creation of a content marketing strategy, strong copy writing skills will be an essential part of this role.

In order for your application to be considered the Senior Programme Manager / Conference Producer will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years proven experience of producing the programme content for large-scale conference and/or expos. With a strong commercial understanding of the healthcare/ NHS and/ or public policy related topics. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills required and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
