You will be an integral part of this team and will support the business by providing advice and recommendations, liaising between commercial risk professionals and relationship teams.

Key responsibilities:

You will manage a network of contacts and external consultants.
You will manage the end to end valuation process from quotation, instruction selection, conflict of interest consideration, reviewing valuation reporting and identifying risks.
You will also compile management information and performance of partners by SLA's and compliance.
You will assist in annual and interim policy and procedural amendments.
You will further assist the Head of Property Risk in gathering information for internal and external auditors, and other special requirements relating to Banking Reform.
You will advise on transactions with relationship teams on applications for credit and for larger transactions.
You will provide guidance / support to the business teams around policies and processes and making recommendations for non-standardised queries.

Experience required:

RICS qualified.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in dealing with internal and external contacts.
Demonstrable exposure to UK real estate markets generally and a good understanding of investor and operational demand on a national scale, with an insightful view of trends and inherent risks in particular markets.
A sound understanding of property valuation methodology and analysis of comparable evidence.
Strong communication skills to succinctly report and react professionally to differing challenges both internally and externally.
Highly developed presentation and business writing skills
Self- starter with a "can do" approach. Able to work on own initiative under minimal supervision.
Effective time management, demonstrating the ability to continually prioritise workloads and meet / exceed prescribed deadlines.
Confident in own ability and be able to provide clear, concise and well balanced reasons, justifying actions taken / recommendations made.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, as well as excel and PowerPoint skills.
UK Commercial real estate sector interest and an interest in the wider economic and regulatory environment.
