We're working with one of the coolest Events and Publishing houses in town and they're looking for a big hitting Sales Manager to be the spearhead for a brand new big, glittering, sparkly and profitable exhibition within their TV portfolio!

It will be your job to be the Exhibitions knight (or knightess - we're not fussy!) in shining armour and be responsible for building a team and leading your merry crew to greatness whilst training and supporting them to be the best that they can be! For you to do this you will need to produce sales plans and weekly reports along with relaying your forecasts and budgets to the board.

You'll be that hunter for business but that nurturing supportive leader who has a real flair for sales, who will be able to build and guide their team to glory and deliver more year-on-year record breaking results.

You will be a Sales Manager currently (or a senior Key Account Manager) and have been in the Events or Exhibitions Sales arena for at least 3 years (extra points if it was on a Construction, Home Improvement, High-End Design or Luxury show) and be great at all what being a sales manager involves - if this needs explaining then this is probably not for you.

You will report into the Head of Sales who is the Captain of the sales ship! He is a Father, Husband, and an exhibition sales and social media guru, in that order. He will be helping you to lead a team that develops leads into customers that want to pay them money, fairly simple. You do just that and then you will earn a lot of commission (and probably retire early).

Naturally, a proven track record of your brilliance is essential, as is an obvious flair for sales and you would be capable of managing lots of different accounts.

The Fit:
You will be someone with at least 4 years' sales experience that you have picked up in an Events or Exhibition sales role, it`s a non-negotiable. If you have Key Account Management experience, that could be no harm either. Realistically, we need you to have a few years' experience of working in a targeted environment under your belt, otherwise we would not be setting you up to succeed. If you have done a stint in publishing sales or have knowledge of publishing, advertising and marketing, all the better, you'll know the pain points and the jargon of your clients!

You will be part of a growing company full of fun people. You will have the opportunity to travel across the country and Europe to meet their international clients and partners. On top of that, you will be invited to all of the events the company produces, summer and Christmas parties and you can even guzzle champers in the office (just because) and just across the road is the boutique foodie place where you need to try their famous Disco Burgers (they're to die for!).
