In this role you will manage and be responsible for delivering a mobile early intervention advice service in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for individuals at risk of sight loss. You will also be responsible for recruitment and ongoing management of staff & volunteers, be responsible for the risk assessment process for all venues and the vehicle, monitor a range of services that people are empowered to access, collate and analyse data by obtaining and responding to the views of people who have sight loss in a timely, appropriate and culturally sensitive manner. Ensure information & advice initiatives and activities are promoted to all sections of the community

You will be required to work 20 hours per week, flexibly Monday to Friday with the requirement to work occasional weekends and some unsocial hours to meet service needs.

We are looking for someone with experience of supervising and developing staff and volunteers, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate at different levels. Have a flexible approach to service delivery and working hours. You must hold a full UK driving licence to be able to fulfil the role.
