Our client is a worldwide leading contract office furniture manufacturer. They are looking to employ a Global Account Manager to manage major accounts domestically and internationally. You will be based in London.

The Role:

The Global Account Manager is a high-performance global career sales professional focused on managing the sales of products and/or services to global accounts that operate across both domestic and international regions to ensure attainment of revenue and profit objectives.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships at the customer's headquarters/executive national and international levels
  • Provide leadership and coordination (directly and/or indirectly) for the locally focused sales teams in multiple countries
  • Responsibility for developing and implementing strategies to grow the organization’s business; executing contracts; account and brand forecasting
  • Gathers detailed information about accounts, identifies decision-makers, understands strategic business challenges and priorities and takes the lead in analysing information as well as prioritizing opportunities critical to the accounts
  • Understands mid and long term broader business issues from accounts
  • Ensures professional sales coordination, account planning and forecast/report sales activity
  • Act as designated design, technical or scientific expert when needed
  • Build and maintain key relationships to collaborate with impact with multiple influencers and decision makers (A&D, Agents, Contractors, Service providers, consultants…)

  • Outstanding selling ability with capability of managing multi-national/ global accounts
  • Self-starter committed to excellence with outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of critical workplace issues and mastery of ability to discuss these at multiple levels
  • Knowledge of the processes/key concerns common to all businesses
  • Extensive project management leadership skills for coordination of large projects using a multi-disciplined team approach
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key relationships
  • Ability to think strategically and develop sound implementation plans across locations and functions
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or business qualification preferred
  • Proven sales record with strong experience in sales
  • International experience is beneficial (working or studying)
  • Fluent in English. An additional advantage would be other European or Asian languages

Package:

  • Basic Salary £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on relevant experience)
