Telesales executive / Account Manager



Full-time, Monday - Friday

£18K, OTE £25K - £30K

Our Newark based client is looking for a Telesales Executive / Account Manager to join their growing team, to facilitate growth of existing accounts, achieve agreed sales targets and grow recurring revenues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow revenues, achieve sales targets for add-on and upgrade sales to existing "warm" accounts

  • Secure add-on and upgrade sales orders via appropriate proposition and ethical sales methods

  • Make outbound calls to existing customers in order to schedule account reviews

  • Answer inbound calls and field / direct accordingly

  • Gain feedback on services and products from existing customers

  • Demonstrate products and services via screen-sharing software

  • When required attend and present at external customer meetings as well as trade shows, exhibitions and conferences

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer activity using the CRM system

  • Process new customer orders including the preparation of quotations

  • Investigate and solve customer issues

  • Maintain a high standard of product knowledge

  • Proactively suggest improvements to systems and procedures

  • If business needs demand, project manage orders from commission through to launch stage

Skills & Experience

  • Previous Telesales experience

  • Self-motivated and resilient, a can-do positive attitude

  • Confident in presenting at all levels

  • Results oriented / target driven

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal and time management skills

  • In depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and web browsers

  • Ideally have experience of ACT! and SharePoint
