SENCO - Secondary School - North London - September 2017 Start - Permanent Appointment - SENDCO

SENCO required for a North London secondary school to start in September. The school is looking for an enthusiastic SEN professional with the capacity to think strategically and manage whole school issues. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking secondary chool with a great team spirit on a permanent basis as the school SENCO. The ideal applicant will be a qualified teacher holding QTS/QTLS and be both highly knowledgeable and experienced with Special Educational Needs. Having the SENCO accreditation is a bonus but not essential, but you should have worked in a SENCO role within a secondary school previously in your career.

Most importantly you should be really passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with Special Educational needs. Naturally you will need fantastic organisational skills and be an excellent communicator, able to seamlessly fit into the supportive team ethos across the school.

The school is an average sized secondary school that has been judged to be good in all areas by Ofsted. The current SENCO has been doing a fantastic job so you will be joining at a good time and will be benefit from the well-thought out processes already in place.

If you are looking for SENCO opportunities in September and this sounds like an opportunity you would like to be considered for, please send your CV for consideration and we will be in touch if you have the experience and skillset we are looking for.
