We are excited to have a new role for a Business Development Manager with a specialist buy to let lender to cover the North of England. You will be responsible for the relationship management of allocated packager/key accounts, communicating the product proposition. You will be required to maximise the full potential of the company's business partners to increase business levels aligned to company strategies

Responsibilities for the role of Business Development Manager

  • Manage and develop added value to existing relationships and maximise business levels to the quality required
  • Help win new business relationships
  • Become an expert on the product proposition and have an excellent understanding the company's strengths against competitors
  • Plan and organise own workload, taking ownership of personal development, identifying and pursuing opportunities where appropriate to develop expertise
  • Contribute towards functional strategy development, planning and implementation process

Experience required for the role of Business Development Manager

  • Strong awareness of the mortgage industry and regulation (buy to let/residential)
  • Previous proven business development in the mortgage industry (ideally through packagers/key accounts)
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong personality but able to show diplomacy and empathy where necessary
  • Self-motivated with drive to succeed and deliver results

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus an additional £5000 car allowance, 25 days holiday, healthcare, life assurance, contributory pension, incentive scheme, additional optional benefits

Location: North and North East
