An opportunity has arisen to join a global group operating in the Lowestoft area.
As the Financial Controllers direct support, this is a pivotal role. You will ideally have staff management experience as you will be responsible for leading a team of two. The team you are responsible for manage all finance system controls, high volume processing and reconciliations and foreign currency.
You will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller to ensure integrity of financial reporting and support the business in meeting its deliverables.
You will process month end adjustments, review and analyse spend against budget. Oversee inter-company reconciliations. Prepare VAT reconciliations and returns.
You will work closely with all departments and management to support financial decision making.
Technical skills and experience
Relevant professional qualification - ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA - Essential
Managerial experience - Essential
Intermediate Excel skills - Essential
Professional and Personal attributes
Professional relationships - able to build effective relationships; good communicator, ensures collaborative working
