This role sits with a market-leading publishing, technology, and services business; who are very well established in their field and have experienced an exceptional first half of 2017.

Reporting to the Head of UK, the Sales Operations Manager / Leader is integral to improving customer service quality, achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, and coaching and operational management responsibility for the Inside Business Development team (currently three people, with room to grow).

Alongside the Inside Business Development management responsibilities, the Sales Operations Manager / Leader will support functions essential to the UK teams productivity. These include planning, reporting, and marketing process optimization and program implementation.

This role also works closely with internal and external stakeholders, notably the marketing team, to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the UK Teams in order to achieve customer acquisition growth.

This is a superb opportunity comprising of operations/analytics, customer retention and lead generation/account growth, as well as team leadership.


The Sales Operations Manager / Leader will come from a background in business development, account management, operations andCRM management, and team leadership - and be able to commute to our client's head office, based inChiswick, London.

Key candidate competencies will follow the below:

  • Firm grasp of and Microsoft Excel
  • Previous background in roles that have included aspects of operational support
  • Key account management and business development experience, B2B; ideally within business and professional services, media, publishing, and/or information/services
  • Degree educated preferable

Job Offer

  • £30,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary, negotiable dependant on background and skill-set
