Health & Social Care Assessor
My client is an established training provider who have been around for over 25 years, and have a strong reputation within the industry, mainly due to the quality of staff they have on their team. This role has become available due to expansion as the company are now seeking to expand further.
We're seeking to appoint an experienced Health and Social Care Assessor who can deliver Apprenticeships in the subject up to Level 5. This role requires you to deliver Functional Skills level 2 as part of the full framework, as well as full autonomy regarding your diary management/caseload management.
You will be required to train, asses, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving their Management qualifications, maximising the use of e-learning and a variety of other assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge.
You will also be required to maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams to support the delivery of the Assessment Business Plan, and ensure all learners experience quality standards in line with Company & Ofsted guidelines.
A strong occupational background in Health and Social Care is required for this position, as well as being a qualified Assessor/Trainer. Previous experience using E-Portfolio systems is an advantage, but full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational qualities, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail.
Assessor award (A1, TAQA, D32 etc.)
Training qualification (PTLLS, CertEd,7407 etc.)
Health and Social Care qualification (ideally at Level 5)
Relevant occupational qualifications in Management.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary is £22,000 to £23,750 per annum, depending on skills and experience

This is a home-based position, with 45p mileage expenses paid from home. Excellent employee benefits package including pension and private healthcare, and good scope for progression for the right candidate.
