Mental Health Support Tutor
We offer courses that focus on everyday practical communication skills and work based learning, giving students every opportunity to enrich their lives.
Key duties will include providing individual and ongoing support for students who have mental health needs. Supporting the academic progress so encouraging and enable learner retention to achieve, you will also provide individualised assessments of learner needs with arrangement and facilitation of support for academic teams.
The successful candidate will have the ability to establish effective working alliances with individuals with complex needs, and to work in cooperation with these learners to facilitate effective communication between them and relevant staff.
We welcome candidates who have experience of working with individuals with mental health needs, promoting safeguarding and working with diverse client groups.
